FC Lugano Brings Miami Hard Rock Stadium Luxury to the Alps With Custom Premium Seating

The club just announced a partnership with Figueras Seating, the same company that provided the luxury seats for Miami's Hard Rock Stadium, to deliver custom premium seating for their new AIL Arena, turning the small Swiss venue into one of the most luxurious football stadiums in the world.
FC Lugano, a mid-sized club in the Swiss Super League, has big plans for their new stadium. The AIL Arena, set to open in 2026, is a boutique stadium, designed to be a small, intimate venue, with a focus on fan comfort and premium experiences. The club wants to create a venue that feels personal, where every fan has a great view, and a great experience, no matter where they're sitting. And part of that plan is bringing the same luxury seating that you'd find in the biggest NFL stadiums in the US, to the small Swiss club.
Martin Blaser, the CEO of FC Lugano, first saw Figueras' seats back in 2018, when he visited Hard Rock Stadium in Miami. He was so impressed with the comfort and the design of the seats, that he knew he wanted to bring those same seats to his own stadium project, whenever he got the chance. Seven years later, that dream is coming true. Figueras will be providing four of their most iconic seating models for the new stadium: Chronos, Smart, Onik, and Riva, each designed for different sections of the venue.
The Chronos model will be used for the general admission sections, providing ergonomic, comfortable seats that are durable enough for years of heavy use, but still comfortable enough for long matches. The Smart model will be used for the premium sections, with extra features like charging ports and integrated technology. The Onik and Riva models will be used for the VIP sections and hospitality suites, with luxury padding, custom designs, and ultra-comfortable features that make the premium experience even more exclusive. All of the seats are designed to meet the specific needs of the Swiss climate, with weather-resistant materials that can withstand the cold Alpine winters, and the warm summers, so they'll last for decades.
Each of the seats is designed to combine ergonomics, durability, and aesthetics, so they're not just comfortable—they look great, too.
